Eggs by feeding chicken?

As my question in title do chicken give eggs? I found this question on FrontierVille forums. But still no idea what's going on there. I didn't get an egg yet. If its true, think I will get some eggs soon. Because, usually I feed my chickens everyday.

Most of the people are starting to feed their chickens to get some eggs. But until this situation they don't feed their chickens in FrontierVille. They think thats a waste of energy. But I want to reveal you a tip out of this topic. If you are not feeding your chickens, start feeding them right now. As all you guys think its a not a waste of energy. You can get 3 experience by feeding each chicken. That means its better you feed your chickens before you feed your goats, sheeps, pigs or cows. Also it will gain you more experience than harvesting. If you want to know more information about these things, you can refer this post 'Animal Cheat-sheet With All Values'

Geese: Animal rip-off?

One of the latest animals to appear in the Frontierville market is the goose. They are one of the most expensive animals you can purchase (3oo gold coins to be exact).

Coming Soon: Buffalo Range, Rattlesnake Canyon, Gold Rush and Oregon Trail

Although FrontierVille is a fresh game and it’s not yet fully optimized for performance, there are a bunch of features that Zynga is working on and which will certainly improve the quality of the game a lot. These “coming soon” episodes to FrontierVille are: Buffalo Range, Rattlesnake Canyon, Gold Rush, Oregon Trail.

Here is how Zynga presents each of the “coming soon” FrontierVille features, starting with the Buffalo Range:

..

Scare a bear with just one energy point

..

My trees are gone. How can I scare bears?

..

How can you find Bears to scare if you’ve already cut down all your trees? I don’t seem to be able to get any by cutting down neighbors’ trees. I’ve planted some more trees on my Homestead. Will that work?

What is Wither Protection?

FrontierVille Wither Protection protects your crops from withering. Normal wither times are double the length of time it takes for the crop to grow. For example, Pumpkins take 1 hour to mature. Therefore, they will wither if left more than 2 hours after they have reached maturation. This is a total of 3 hours from planting to withering.

Zynga brings new crops, varmints, buildings and more to Frontierville

It seems that every week Zynga is releasing cool and interesting updates to frontierville and it gets even better this week as we not only get new crops but as well as new quests to ensure longer playtime in Frontierville. Specifically, the announcement bar above the Frontierville applications says: “New quests, buildings, crops, and varmints. Buy a dinner bell at the market and call your whole family together!”.

I have investigated on this one and discovered that we have a new building and it costs quite a fortune as well. The Sawmill can now be built from the marketplace. We’re not yet sure on what will it bring out but seeing the big picture, we can expect more buildings to come as the game moves out of the beta phase. I would love to hear from our readers, on the effects of the sawmill.

Have You Seen a Fox Yet?

I just got a chance colbber this new varmint(fox) in FrontierVille. Have you seen a fox yet? Don't worry! Soon you will see. You can catch them within the area where your chickens stay. Just feed some of your chickens and soon that fox will be appeared.

FrontierVille invaded by a new breed of varmint. Hint: they're foxy

Looks like there's a new varmint on the loose in FrontierVille that will need to be scared, clobbered or worse - a fox.
I haven't spotted one of these sly canines prowling around my property yet, but it was hard to miss the new Fox Collection that popped up into the game today. A notification at the top of the game also says that there are new "varmints,' so after putting two and two together and, well, I expect a fox to show up at any point now. Me, my spouse and my child be waiting, Mr. Fox.
Have you seen a fox yet?

FrontierVille Levelling Guide ( Experience and Level)

On this guide I made, I will show you 3 factors of leveling up.
These will be, the level. The XP required to get to this level, and Frontier Jacks Level when you reach this level.

This is mainly to help you see how much more XP you need to get to the next level.

Level:1, Amount of experience needed=0, Frontier Jack's Level=5

Level:2, Amount of experience needed=25, Frontier Jack's Level=5

Level:3, Amount of experience needed=40, Frontier Jack's Level=5

Level:4, Amount of experience needed=80, Frontier Jack's Level=5

Not for long, "Free Frontierville Tips" as the fastest growing Frontierville community will provide an avenue for Frontierville players to get together and add each other as neighbors.

Summoning Groundhogs

Zynga’s latest update brings about new varmint quests which rewards you with significant experience points. Summoning bears and snakes may not be so much of a problem since just you just need to (err..) beat around the bush for them to come out. Its the groundhogs that require a bit more convincing since they only appear when you plant/harvest crops.

How to Find your Missing Child in Frontierville

Now this may sound weird for some but it really is happening. Since your child’s sprite is quite small, there is a high chance that he/she will get covered by objects. Since this is not really a 3D game and there’s no rotating camera, finding junior can prove to be quite a challenge. There are several ways to do this. One involves using the move tool in the dashboard to move stuff around and see if junior’s behind the barn/etc. This is quite effective but when Junior gets lost in the woods i.e large pines/oaks its loses touch. Not to mention the chore of moving them back to their respective places as soon as your child is found.

It would be great if zynga can implement hotkeys for your avatars just like in Sims, but I doubt if this can be done in flash games since the game is only controlled by a mouse. This makes stuff simple but it makes problems like this more annoying.

List of Frontierville Quests

If ever you’re wondering if there’s a comprehensive list of Frontierville Quests on the internet then you’re in for a real treat. This post is all about quests and their order in game. The requirements for the quest are included as well. This can give potential players what items to prepare and to wish for. Going over the list, you will notice that the higher your level gets the more it gets harder to complete quests. That is why it is very important to have as many neighbors as possible so that they can provide item assistance to you.

Frontierville Food Updates in Price and Effects

The cost of food as well as its effect was changed for the worst i believe. It became pricier and the increase was reduced. For example, lunch is now 200 food supplies and has only an energy increase of 11. I don’t know what’s Zynga’s mind but I guess this is to slow things a bit. This makes life a bit unfair for those who have just started.

New Items, Quest and More

If you have noticed the yellow sign above the Frontierville interface, you will see that there’s a new message posted saying “New varmint-hunting and chicken coop quests! Tending signs in the market. And you can now click on 30 “feed” rewards a day.” If I were to interpret this latest update, its definitely a sign of good things to come. Frontierville is going to be a big game and we expect more of these stuff. Now what does this update bring us? Lets break it down:

Varmints

Here’s another important FrontierVille Tip, this time its about dealing with varmints and what triggers them to appear. Varmints are creatures that randomly appear during clearing and harvesting. They cannot hurt you but doing actions while in their vicinity costs extra energy. Varmints are of three types and it might be just possible that there would be more as the game progresses. These are snakes, bears and groundhog (mole). While the snake and the bear may look fearsome, they actually cannot touch you.

Moving Stuff and More

Some of you might say “duh!” to this post but I have noticed that the FAQ does not offer much information on the basic operations of Frontierville. It has been noted that not all newcomers think that they can move and arrange items into their liking. Though you may argue about this matter, I believe this guide can really get a long way in encouraging would-be players to stick longer into discovering the game. I mean just how many players out there will click the close button on their browsers upon encountering that their chickens and whatnot cannot be moved.

Welcome to "Free FrontierVille Tips" | Your One Stop Resource for FrontierVille Cheats, Tips and Hints

2010 June 9th, Zynga launched a new game called Frontierville which is mostly a combination of Farmville and Treasure Isle. The game resembles that of the Wild West where you are given a piece of land to tame and create a thriving village. It takes Farmville’s farming concept up a notch by introducing several other aspects. You have more to worry aside from crops and the like. You are also tasked to build structures in the hope of establishing a small community.
